The Watermark is a smaller crag 200 feet west of Avalon,
just above the stream. It consists of four buttresses and offers several
pleasant routes. To approach, ford the stream and follow a path directly
up to the bottom of the formation. A path leads up around the right side
of the crag to a big bench above the routes. From here a good path leads
northeast to Avalon, or vice versa.
